10:45 Dravid’s excellent book recommendation — David Halberstam’s book on Michael Jordan (“Playing for Keeps”). The book tells you as much about Dravid as it does about Jordan

  2. Sherab Tenpa says:

  4. Rishi Aneja says:

Just because he got all the records doesnt mean he always played for it….!!
Its like saying Amitabh Bachchan acts only for money

I WOULD CALL RAHUL INDIA’S BEST EVER BATSMAN AND CAPTAIN. FOR HIM, BATTING WAS A SCIENCE OF PRECISION. HE ANALYSED EVERY BALL, EVERY STROKE, EVERY WICKET. FOR HIM, HIS TEAM MATTERED MORE THAN THE SELF. IF HIS TEAM LOST, HIS CENTURY MEANT NOTHING TO HIM.
CRICKET POLITICS MEANT NOTHING TO HIM, HE WAS ABOVE ALL THAT. WHAT WAS NOT GOOD FOR TEAM INDIA WAS NOT GOOD FOR RAHUL
RAHUL IS NOT THE GANDHI OR NEHRU OR BOSE, BUT THE SARDAR PATEL OF INDIAN CRICKET.
    INDIA SALUTES RAHUL DRAVID.

His interview demonstrates how much he thinks when he bats and then goes back and reflects. That kind of self awareness is probably the reason why he improved throughout his career.

  8. srnp0007 says:

He was better than Sachin , He always played for his country but Sachin played only for records .

    Some succeed because they are
    destined to, but Rahul Dravid
    succeeded because he was
    DETERMINED to.
