Sachin Tendulkar is quite simply one of the greatest batsmen of all time. After finally reaching his one hundredth international hundred, the Indian cricketer has achieved what no other player has perhaps making the greatest ever. The batsman referred to as the ‘Little master’ is also the biggest run scorer of all tie and ranked only behind Don Bradman in the wisdom list of greatest test batsmen of all time. With a test batting average of 55.44 over one hundred and eighty eight games Tendulkar has become one of the most famous cricketers to live, often mobbed in the streets by adoring Indian Fans.

The little Master also plays for Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians. During his time in the IPL Tendulkar has become the second highest run scorer in the competitions history scoring 1,723 runs in just 51 matches. The Indian super star, will not only be proud of his career, but will also be proud of his sons exploit as the thirteen year old has announced himself onto the cricketing stage after hitting his first ever century in the Mumbai cricketing associations U-14 vacation tournament. The Left handed batsman son of the legendary Indian player hit one hundred and twenty four during the semi-final of the tournament which is played over two days.

The Youngster is no stranger to big scores and has caught the eye of many admirers having scored runs regularly in his short career. Arjun Tendulka has also been prolific with the ball taking eight for twenty two runs in the cities school finals. With many tipping him for a future Indian international it would be quite something for the even littler master to make it to the top of his game like his father before him, but will have quite the job to eclipse his dad’s career achievements.
