When Rahul Dravid was playing for Team India, he hardly used to laugh. He was considered as an extremely serious guy who concentrates very hard on his game. He was rarely seen laughing or cracking jokes and having fun with the team mates. Even during the interviews in his playing days, he used to answer the questions with extreme seriousness. But, now, after the retirement, he seems to be a different guy altogether. He could be seen laughing during the interviews these days. He looks quite refreshed and doesn’t look so much tensed as he used to do in his playing days.

Recently, in an interview, when Rahul Dravid was asked whether he would like to be the coach of Team India in the future, he didn’t deny that. He said that he might come in the profession of coaching, but not now. He said that he has not yet decided about his future. But, he said that he would definitely be attached with cricket in some form. Talking about the former India coach Gregg Chappell, Dravid said that the captain has to decide about the composition of the team and not the coach. A coach can only give advice and that’s what Chappell used to do. Dravid said that Chappell had never forced him for anything.

Meanwhile, the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has nominated the name of Rahul Dravid for the prestigious Khel Ratna award. The CAO of BCCI, Professor Ratnakar Shetty has given this information to the media. Rahul Dravid is one of the greatest players who have ever played for India. He made more than 10,000 runs in both the tests and One Day Internationals. With the kind of record that he has, Rahul Dravid certainly deserves this prestigious Khel Ratna Award.
